Dear Stakeholders of Special Education,

Started in 1991 under the name of ‘Special Education Days’ in memory of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mitat Enç, the National Special Education Congress, which has developed over the years and has become an important tradition, meets you for the 35th time this year. The 35th National Special Education Congress will be held in Konya, hosted by Necmettin Erbakan University Department of Special Education between 30 October - 2 November 2025. We are honoured to invite you to this meaningful event.

The main theme of this year's congress is ‘Special Education of the 21st Century’. 35th National Special Education Congress aims to address current developments in the field of special education, evaluate innovative approaches and develop sustainable solutions for the education of individuals with special needs. The sub-themes of our congress include new trends in special education, teacher training, vocational training and employment, family education, early childhood special education, effective education models in special education, evidence-based practices, hospital classes, home education practices, Science and Art Centres (BİLSEM) and all educational approaches for individuals with special needs.

In addition to the oral and poster presentations accepted as a result of the referee evaluation, good practice examples in the field of special education will also take place in our congress. In addition, a rich scientific programme will be provided to our participants with invited speeches, panels, workshops and round table meetings where expert academicians will contribute.

We invite academics, teachers, experts, researchers, students, families and all stakeholders who are interested in the field of special education to come together at the 35th National Special Education Congress.
